There are always several Uzdun'kalat signet rings in existence. If one is lost to treachery or violence, another is crafted in its place.

Though they are beautiful, these rings have no special properties. They exist entirely as tokens of status and good relations between Uzdun'kal other races and foreign powers. Ynar carries one with him. He has been charged with finding someone to bring Alek Endhelm to justice. Ynar is not required to give the Signet to the person he recruits, but he may if he chooses. No one will trade for the signet ring, not even Elgar Basil or the other Men of the Knife.
