The story begins in Andreah's home, where she appears to be having a fairly ordinary day. She does the normal things a young woman would do, not making any special mention of other races. She leaves the house and as she moves down the street she is ambushed by a group of half-elves who, needless to say, don't like her. They accuse her of being against elves and half-elves, to which she agrees, stating that humans are better than elves and deserve to rule the world. The situation degenerates into a fight, which she wins with the encouragement of some Friends who have arrived to help.
