Quests:Dun Barethsol:Don't Feed the Wolves!

Don't Feed the Wolves! is a fairly minor sidequest with little alignment implication, except that a good character on the Dwarvish path would develop a certain amount of extra rapport with the Yetins. Even an evil character can complete this sidequest without a shift in alignment, if she insists on being paid for her services. Samis cannot pay with anything more than a bottle or two of Elvish Wine, but he will pay her if she insists upon it.

Samis Desorin's sheep are at the mercy of a pack of wolves. He owns sheepdogs, but they aren't much help against the large, hungry wolves that are attacking his sheep. The dogs are named Coll, Gib, and Daw. There is one other named Mak, but he is really more of a pup and is in as much need of rescue as the sheep he is supposed to be guarding.

The wolves have backed the three grown sheepdogs into a stone shelter at far corner of Samis' pen. The first task is to free the dogs. Once the grown dogs are out, the player realizes that one dog is missing. Either she can rescue Mak or kill the leader of the wolves.

Samis will be most pleased if all four dogs and all of the sheep survive and of course, will reward the player better for this outcome than all the others.
