The venRhys family is one of the leading families of Waste's Edge. Aladan venRhys is the head of both the venMora and the venRhys families.

Aladan venRhys and Mita venMora had children together after their wedding. Mina venMora Turvale is the last of Roald venMora's blood. After Roald's death, Mita had three more children. In all they raised seven children - their sons Roald, Torun, Roln, and their daughters Braewold, Mina, Anala, and Cerida.

Roald venMora and Torun venRhys have started their own families. Torun has moved to Erinsford. Roald still lives near Waste's Edge. He has moved his family into the woods. Roln lives alone near Arynsval.

The daughters have married various men from Erinsford, Waste's Edge, Southhome, and even Southbank. At the time of the game's first chapter, most of the clan is in town for Aladan's naming day. He is 60 years old.
