Characters:Dun Barethsol:Helmerk Axehaft

The Chief of the Underground village is proud of his position and his relation to the Lord of Uzdun'kal. He hasn't noticed, however, that he doesn't actually run the village. His wife does so, while pretending for the sake of dignity that the village chief is not also the village idiot. Helmerk Axehaft isn't actually stupid, but for a Dwarf, he is lacking in common sense. Thorig "appointed" him to a town on the outskirts of Uzdun'kal to be rid of him, since he is useless as anything but a gemcutter.
