Also corrupted from Elvish stock, Ghostmages are usually solitary, evil, and ancient. They are now rare in the world, but can still be found. The Ghostmages are the spirits of Elvish mages seduced by Danir's power and later deprived of power over their own lives and bodies. Otherwise, their power and knowledge are great. They wish more than anything for the power to cease. The Marring of the World gives a brief overview of their origin and plight.
