Regarding Alek's Endgame:

Wouldn't it be easier for evil Marcella to side with Alek? I imagine that Alek would want to take the opportunity and capture her for Albrecht, but Marcella might convince him that Ella's blood would be much more suitable for Albrecht's needs (with Ella being much more powerful than herself).
