Krelm "Cutpurse" Bursor is Alek's thief par excellance. He is small, quick, and vicious. He uses only knives in combat, but he is no less deadly for prefering weapons he can hide.

Krelm's agility is very high, making his capacity for dodging and parrying in combat significant. He prefers minimal armors. He carries no less than six knives that he usually wields in pairs. When the game's events take place, he wears re-inforced bracers, a studded leather vest, soft leather boots, heavy gloves, and, interestingly enough, a Ring of Feathers that bestows +1 agility on Humans and Half-Elves and will teach the Song of the Eagle to Half-Elves (or Humans it considers to be sufficiently like the Syvulanas. Like many older magickal items, the Ring has something of a mind of its own. It is neither overtly good nor overtly evil, but has definite views on race. It does nothing for Elves or Dwarves and tends to make its own judgements on what is Human and what is Syulvanas. For the purposes of game mechanics, a Human with alignment >= 1 or at least two points in songs is considered Syulvanas by the Ring. When killed Krelm may drop any or all of his weapons and armor. He will certainly drop the Ring and his marker - also a bronze bar from Norsheim-on-Forod. His bar is marked with a curved knife.
