Legend suggests that vampyru may be of any Prime race or gender, though most vampyr tales concern either Human or Half-Elven vampyru. Legend holds that at one time, Elvish vampyru also existed, but that they were long ago destroyed by Elvish mages skilled in the arts of healing and true death. In this case, however, the legends are altogether wrong. Vampyru still exist. They are exclusively Elvish in their origins. They are now masters of the arts of Wind, Water, and Fire. The magick of the Earth is lost to them, however.
