Lursan "Waterpaw" Maladris
Waterpaw is an ursanthrope. He came into the Yetin fold only after trial and suffering. Like many other werebeasts, he was rescued by the Lineage of Malad, a sect within the Keepers of the Yeti Spirit devoted to the guidance and rescue of werebeasts. Lursan is more violent and less disciplined than Lesteph. Having come to the Maladrim by way of The Free Lancers, he is mature enough to defer to Lesteph Brighteyes.
